Can a non-Tesla use the Wall Connector?
Yes — it charges any Type 2 EV sold in Australia.
Does it need Wi-Fi to charge?
No, Wi-Fi is only for firmware and app features.
Do I need to be home during the installation?
Someone over 18 needs to give access to the switchboard and be walked through the charger at handover. You don't need to supervise the work.
Will the power be off during the work?
The supply is isolated for 30–60 minutes while the new circuit is connected and tested. We'll let you know beforehand.
What paperwork do I receive?
A Certificate of Testing and Compliance, manufacturer warranty documentation and the installation test results.
